Thought du jour - 5 August 2011

"I have a mouth, and I'm not afraid to use it." - Megan Fox

So many things I could write in response, but I'll limit it to the following:

1. Her statement is the very definition of double entendre (I'm guessing that it's also unintentionally ironic).

2. Leaving aside the somewhat amusing double entendre, this one phrase, and the person who uttered it (who has no discernible talent as an actor other than her "hourglass figure"), symbolizes most everything that's wrong with modern society. Along those lines, the photo I've used above fits right in - a society built on self-love instead of self-awareness.

How about this as an alternative?

"I have a mind, and I'm not afraid to use it."
